CGFocus – Line Array Aiming / Coverage Prediction

Based upon the successful line array aiming software, EASE Focus, Mr. Grecco hired the engineering team at Software Design Ahnert (SDA) in Berlin, Germany to expand the capabilities of the software exclusively for his line array needs. In addition to all of the features that are standard with EASE Focus, this version of Focus includes a myriad of filtering options.

Previously, each line array module operated as a single, full range element. This new version allows each individual pass band to be configured separately. Crossover, EQ filters and delay can be applied to each pass band, each cabinet and the entire array, just as can be done in the real world. Taking the software one step closer to reality enables its modeled results to be more refined and reflect what the system designer can accomplish with today’s DSP.
